App design & prototype for Venn, an app aiming to fight the polarization of politics.

Using Figma, I designed and prototyped this app, which is meant to combat the polarization of politics by allowing open-minded people to discuss politics with those who have different stances on political issues.

The concept for this app was created in a group, when we were tasked in a classroom setting with creating an app idea that would bring together two groups of people that might not usually interact. 

The color palette came from the colors of the two main United States political parties, Democrats and Republicans, and I used a circle motif throughout, based on the original venn diagram logo. I used a single circle as the icon for the political alignments we can set on our profile, and interlocking circles as the icon for a user’s matches, whose profiles they can view in comparison to theirs, and who they are then able to talk with.
